Our Administrator in Training (AIT) Program and Director of Nursing in Training (DONIT) Programs are full-time, paid training programs designed to prepare future healthcare administrators to lead with confidence, compassion, and competence.

  • Willingness to Relocate: Applicants must be open to transfer to any location where Evergreen operates.
  • Education Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required (or active enrollment with one year or less remaining until graduation).
  • Commitment: After completing the AIT or DONIT program, participants agree to work for Evergreen Healthcare Group for a minimum of two years. 
  •  Connecting You to Community Support: Whether it’s a caregiver group, church support, or home care service, we help you find the right network of support.

The following FAQs are pertinent to the NA Program in Oregon.

The Oregon NA program is 4 weeks. It consists of the 2 weeks online that is self-led (41 hours), 1 week in-person lab (28 hours) and 1 week of in- person clinical (40 hours), for a total of 109 hours 
The NA class is free with the expectation that the student works for the facility for at least 6 months. The testing fee is $106, and fingerprints are $70.50. This is reimbursed once they pass the state testing and are employed by a Medicare facility. 
There can be 2-10 students. 
You will practice your skills that are discussed during the online learning. This involves practicing with your classmates or on a mannequin. Skills include vital signs, dressing, mouth care, bathing, transfers etc. 
During the week of clinical, you will be paired with an experienced CNA to be hands on and practice the skills you learned in lab.  
  • No prior caregiving experience required. 
  • Complete the interview process with the facility where the class is being held. 
  • A background check must be started prior to beginning the class. 
  • 2 work references. 
  • We also provide free BLS CPR certification and a Tuberculosis screening test. Both are mandatory to completing the program. 

Once the class is completed and the testing fees received by OSBN, the student can then schedule their knowledge and skills exams with Headmasters. The exams are usually scheduled two weeks after completion of the program.
